Thank you to everyone who volunteered, participated, attended, and enjoyed delicious chili meals delivered to local businesses or taken home to family and friends. What an incredible day of fun and fellowship as we came together to serve our wonderful Palestine community!
Meals on Wheels benefited from the proceeds, while our church body and the community were blessed by the volunteers who helped us dish up our delicious chili and keep the kitchen running smoothly. Bethlehem Lutheran Church mission programs also gain from our community events.
Our congregation took great joy in welcoming so many from the community to our facility, creating opportunities for fellowship. It was wonderful to see long-time co-workers and friends reconnect, sharing stories of their relationships over the years. We were delighted to have plenty of new faces join in the fun as well.
Throughout the event, there were smiles, hugs, laughter, and many comments about how good the chili smelled all the way out in the parking lot.
