On Pastor Appreciation Day, we gave thanks for Pastor Peter Heckmann and the many blessings he has brought to Bethlehem Lutheran Church through faithful Divine Services and Bible studies. We are grateful for his steady care in proclaiming Christ crucified and risen, teaching God’s Word, and serving among us during this intentional interim season.
We also thank the pulpit supply pastors who have served Bethlehem this year. Through each sermon, Scripture reading, and word of encouragement, we have been richly blessed. “Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching.” — 1 Timothy 5:17
We thank God for these faithful servants and for the Gospel they have proclaimed in our midst.
