Ten Texas Rangers fans gathered at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1515 South Loop 256, Palestine, TX 75801, for hot dogs with chili or sauerkraut, chips, popcorn, and an afternoon of baseball fun.
We cheered hard and long as the Rangers faced the Toronto Blue Jays, though the final score was 7–2 in favor of Toronto. The loss did not spoil the good time. Between the baseball action, the group enjoyed a rousing game of “7’s,” with Betty coming out on top. Will there be a rematch in her future?

Fellowship around a table, a ballgame, and a deck of cards is a simple gift from God. We are thankful for time together—and we still believe the Rangers will rally and put another win on the books.
