We give thanks to the Lord for a joyful welcome and congratulations potluck reception at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1515 South Loop 256, Palestine, TX 75801. We were grateful to celebrate our newest members, our confirmand, and our graduate as we shared a meal and fellowship together.
Craig Beckman, Tina Beckman, Lisa Orpin, Alex Pope, and Jessica Bowden joined the celebration. Kay Boothe was also honored, though not pictured. We are thankful for each one and excited to welcome them into our church family.
Sandwiches, salads, cake, pie, and cookies filled the table, but the best part was the time spent together. As the early church devoted itself to fellowship, we are reminded that God gathers us around His Word and joins us to one another in Christ. “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” — Acts 2:42
