Our Chili Friday event was a joyful celebration filled with great food, fellowship, and community spirit. While BARC (Anderson County Humane Society) was not an official recipient of the event proceeds, one member found a meaningful way to extend the impact even further.
Moved by her love for animals, Lori donated large metal cans to BARC, supporting their ongoing recycling program. BARC collects metal and aluminum cans year-round, with proceeds benefiting their Medical Fund to help care for animals in need. Donations can be dropped off at the shelter at 335 Armory Rd, Palestine, or placed on the flatbed trailer behind the shelter if they are closed.
