As East Texas heads back to school, we can get back to serving our neighbors in a life-saving way. Bethlehem Lutheran Church will host a Community Blood Drive on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the church parking lot at 1515 South Loop 256, Palestine, TX 75801.
The Carter BloodCare mobile unit will be on-site and ready to welcome donors. Giving blood is a simple act of care that may help someone facing surgery, illness, or an emergency. Jesus says, “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). While a blood donation is not the cross, it is one practical way we can serve our neighbors with the love Christ has shown us.
