Bethlehem Lutheran Church will open its doors to voters on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, as an Election Day polling place for the November General Election. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the church, 1515 S. Loop 256 in Palestine.
The Anderson County Elections Administrator’s office has designated Bethlehem as the polling location for Voting Box 01.What voters need to know
Anderson County votes by precinct on Election Day, so voters must cast their ballot at the polling place for their own voting box. Bethlehem serves voters assigned to Voting Box 01.
Voters in Box 01 should take note of the location. For the March 2026 primary, Box 01 voted at Palestine High School. The good news: Bethlehem sits right across the road from the high school, so the new spot is easy to find.
Not sure which box you’re in? Your voting box number is printed on your voter registration card. You can also call the Anderson County Elections Office at (903) 723-7855.

Bethlehem is thrilled to play its part as a member of the Palestine community. Hosting voters on Election Day is a privilege, and with so much at stake this November, we are delighted to open our doors for something this important.
Serving the community is nothing new for Bethlehem. The congregation was chartered in 1945, has worshiped at its Loop 256 home since 1971, and regularly hosts events like community blood drives. Bethlehem is a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
Election judges will open the building at 6:00 a.m. to prepare, and county crews will deliver voting equipment in the days before the election. Bethlehem members and staff are helping with arrangements so the day runs smoothly for poll workers and voters alike.
Voters can park in the lot in front of the church, which has plenty of spaces for everyone coming to cast a ballot.Questions
