Before I forget, I want to invite all the men of Bethlehem to Trinity, Tyler’s Men’s Bible Breakfast this Saturday, September 13, at 9:00 am. Some of the guys at Trinity suggested this and I think it’s a great idea. Food is provided, and I lead the devotional discussion. We usually wrap up a little after 10. Let me know if you have any questions.
Now that we have passed Labor Day and the school schedule is in full swing, we also return to the Fall rhythms of the church year. This is a good time to commit to every Sunday Bible class and worship participation. That is about two and half hours total on a Sunday morning. Not long in the big picture, yet having a present and eternal impact on the quality of your life in Christ!
We also will begin a new study this Wednesday in our evening gathering. The topic is The Mission of the Church. Over the next several weeks we will be looking at where Bethlehem has been, where it is, and where it’s going, all in the light of Holy Scripture with divine guidance. This, too, can provide a big uplift in shaping the ongoing ministry of the church! Bring your dinner for fellowship at 5, study begins at 6, and we conclude with prayer time at 7.
