Our skilled and sassy crew at Bethlehem Lutheran Church kicked off the Spring Spruce Up event with a burst of enthusiasm, even starting a day early! Larry and Julie got a head start by cleaning and polishing our beautiful altar and refreshing the member mailboxes in the Narthex.
A team of dedicated “scientists,” led by Paul, Mark, and Brenda, with the expert assistance of JoAnn and Donna, assembled our visitor welcome center. Meanwhile, DeAnne and Lana gave the Sanctuary pews a bright, shining polish.
Perrin surveyed the church’s exterior, ensuring our grounds looked fantastic, while Jeff and several helping hands installed permanent shelving. These efforts have transformed rooms previously cluttered with outdated furnishings into spaces ready to store seasonal items and decorations with ease.
The sanctuary now sparkles with six fresh LWML Banners, thoughtfully hung with care. As the banners were placed, we shared stories of their origins and celebrated the faithful members who crafted them so lovingly.
Of course, no event is complete without food and fellowship! After our hard work, we gathered for a delicious lunch, giving thanks to God for the helpful hands and warm hearts of our community. We cherished the opportunity to grow closer as friends and faithful followers of Jesus, preparing His house to welcome everyone this beautiful Easter season.
