Thirteen people gathered at Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Friday, August 21, 2026, for an evening of pickleball, pizza, desserts, and good fellowship at Game Night. We were especially grateful to Larry Schoppe, Julie Schoppe, and Danny Howard for putting down new tape on the pickleball court before the evening began.
Mary Bowden was chosen as this month’s pickleball MVP. Between the games, the shared meal, and plenty of conversation, it was a joyful night together at Bethlehem Lutheran.
Fellowship like this is one of the ways we encourage one another in faith and friendship, as Hebrews reminds us: “Encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near” (Hebrews 10:25).
Thank you to everyone who helped, played, visited, and brought such a warm spirit to the evening. We look forward to gathering again next month.
