Meet Christina Kaudelka Knox, whose roots here at Bethlehem Lutheran Church run deep. Her grandfather, Walter Kaudelka Sr., was among our church’s charter members. Her parents, Inge and Walter Kaudelka Jr., were also devoted members, with Inge serving as our first preschool director.
Christina’s journey intertwined with Kelly Lawson’s back in 1979 when Kelly moved to Palestine to be with her mother, a fellow Bethlehem member. The two attended Palestine High School together, graduating in 1982. Their friendship blossomed into a lifelong bond filled with shared milestones.
Christina married her husband at Bethlehem in 1983, before moving in 1986 to attend college at Stephen F. Austin State University. From there, she settled in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, faithfully attending an LCMS Lutheran church and raising her two children in the faith.
Now retired, she enjoys life in Flower Mound with her husband, celebrating 42 years of cherished marriage. Christina’s story is a beautiful testament to enduring friendship and the strength of faith that began in our church community.
