Meet Donna Hughes, a cherished member of our Bethlehem Lutheran Church family. Originally from Canada, Donna moved to Washington state at the age of five. In 1967, she married the love of her life and settled in Palestine, Texas, where her heart found a home in our congregation.
Donna is blessed with three wonderful children, all living within an hour’s drive of Palestine. After raising her family, Donna started her remarkable career at the Anderson County Appraisal District, where she has contributed for over 43 years.
Her dedication extends beyond her professional life. At Bethlehem, Donna actively participates in the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML), enjoys gatherings with the Lunch Bunch, joins our Game Nights, and supports our Blood Drives.
Since 1997, Donna has served faithfully as the Church Council Secretary, a testament to her unwavering commitment. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Donna for her endless devotion and the vibrant spirit she brings to our church community.
