A beloved friend to the Fortner family and a frequent visitor to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Dr David Paul Langston, went to his heavenly home recently.
Always quick with a mischievous and loving smile, Dr. Langston, affectionately known as “Doc”, served our community in countless ways. He was a frequent supporter of events and fundraisers at Bethlehem Lutheran Church and was held in high esteem by our members for his generous and loving spirit.
Doc’s beloved family traveled to Texas for his life celebration service at his home church, Friendship Baptist Church.
We were able to contribute to the family’s healing by offering Luther Hall as a spacious and comfortable place for his family to gather, fellowship, and remember Doc as his formal service approached.
We will miss you, Doc! Thank you for your generosity and kindness.
