Step into a sacred journey with us at Bethlehem Lutheran Church as we embrace the spirit of reflection and preparation for the momentous tasks ahead. Let’s gather together in faith and support one another through this holy season.
Palm Sunday – April 13
“Putting on Your Game Face” – John 12:20-43
Begin this sacred week by celebrating Palm Sunday. Worship starts at 10:15 AM, with an insightful Bible Study starting at 9:00 AM. What would you have to do to get ready for a big task? Jesus is getting ready for the salvation of the world – a very big task indeed. He shows us what is most important. On this day, long ago, our Lord entered Jerusalem to glad shouts of “Hosanna!” On the threshold of his last week on earth, we invite you to share with us this foretaste of his final triumph. Please join us after worship in the narthex so that we may welcome you personally as well.
Maundy Thursday – April 17
‘Judas Iscariot’ – John 13:21-30
The people that actually saw Jesus in ministry, arrested and crucified are examples for us. We too, have seen Jesus in the Word, Communion and each other. May we live faithful as well.
Good Friday – April 18
‘John, The Gospel Writer’ – John 19:25-37
Gather with us for a solemn Good Friday service as we remember Jesus’ sacrifice. The people that actually saw Jesus in ministry, arrested and crucified are examples for us. We too, have seen Jesus in the Word, Communion and each other. May we live faithful as well.
Easter Sunday – April 20
‘Mary Magdalene’ – John 20:1-18
Rejoice in the resurrection! Easter worship service begins at 10:15 AM. Come early to share in an uplifting Easter breakfast at 9:00 AM.
The people that actually saw Jesus in ministry, arrested and crucified are examples for us. We too, have seen Jesus in the Word, Communion and each other. May we live faithful as well.
We invite you to join our welcoming community at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Let this Holy Week be an opportunity to deepen your connection to Christ and to one another.
