Our recent Blood Drive, held on February 14th, was a heartwarming triumph here at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. In a wonderful display of community spirit, we welcomed 11 registered donors—each contributing to a life-saving cause.
Thanks to the strategic changes in our approach this year, including the compressed time frame of 3-6 PM and the use of the Carter BloodCare bus, we managed to honor peak donation hours and support more donors efficiently. Our church’s visible location played a crucial role in making this event a successful venture for both Carter BloodCare and our community.
We are thrilled to have hosted more members of the community during our regularly scheduled Blood Drives, contributing to this essential cause.
Dakota Burkham, our Carter BloodCare Blood Drive Consultant, shared: “I love the story! By shifting from our building to the bus and adjusting the time frame, it seems we didn’t lose any donors while almost doubling the drive’s efficiency rate!”
